From the first conversation I had with Lindsey + Caylen, they wanted to make sure I could fit in a fall engagement session at their cottage on Six Mile Lake. When I heard why this place was so special - it's where their family gathers to be together, a place where they bonded over Jameson whiskey, long canoe rides and sunset bonfires - I was totally on board to make the drive up to the Muskokas. But as soon as I got there, my excitement went to a whole new level... have you ever seen such a beautiful location?? We picked a date right in the middle of October and Mother Nature did not disappoint, it was the perfect, vibrant fall day.
I love hanging out with clients who feel like old friends, and that's what it was like with these two. Maybe it's because they're both teachers, but they were so both warm and inviting, hilarious and chill. We spent a few hours up at Six Mile Lake, and in that sort time I totally fell in love with these two and their happy, giggly relationship. It will be such a joy to capture once again at their wedding this weekend!
