How do you use your camera and what the heck is "good light"? Exposure triangle, lenses + equipment, editing + presets... and more.
This mentor session would be for someone looking to start from the beginning and really get to know the foundations of photography without skipping ahead. (I promise, it's so worth it). This session is a condensed version of the ROOT workshop.
How to interact with clients during a session to get natural, candid moments. Also, how to compose your shots (and how so very important good composition is). What are you trying to say through your storytelling? How do you tell strong stories in a single image? In a blog post?
This mentor session would be great for a photographer who is already working with clients, but feels stuck with the images they are capturing.
LIGHT IS EVERYTHING
A deep dive into LIGHT, the most important thing you could learn about in photography. Knowing your light is the secret to consistency in style, colour, vibe, aesthetic and ultimately story + brand.
This mentor session is for photographers, new and old, who haven't yet been able to really understand how to build consistency in their work. A basic knowledge of how to use your camera would be helpful.
BUILD A 6 FIGURE BUSINESS
How the heck do you grow from a hobbiest to running a 6 figure photography business? What's important to invest in? Am I charging enough?
This mentor session could be for a brand new photographer, or someone who's been in the business for a while. Either way, if you're not sure where to go next, if you're frustrated by lack of new clients and inquiries, this is a great place to start.
How to add teammates to your business and reassure your clients that everyone on the team is worth booking. How to charge, manage your team, and set client expectations when you're not around.
This session is for photographers who are already confident in running their business, and have already built a consistent style that they could teach to others.
LIGHTROOM + EDITING
How to navigate lightroom, use/edit/update presets to create a consistent look through all light types.
This mentor session would be especially helpful for new photographers who have minimal experience with editing, or photographers who rely heavily on purchased presets.
