What can I say about these two… Ally + John are two of the absolutely sweetest and fun pairs I’ve ever met. Our combined tricky schedules led us to picking a mid-afternoon time for our adventure. We decided on Huron Natural Area, which is a popular spot in Kitchener for photos; that being said, we adventured primarily off the trail and found spots less traveled. It was the perfect warm October afternoon! These guys are planning a big country wedding at the beginning of June, a celebration I can’t wait to be a part of.
Like many of my couples, the session started out with a warning – “we’re awkward”. Guys, if I had a nickel (actually, I’ll take a quarter) for every time I’ve heard that, I would be seriously loaded. Every amazing couple I’ve ever worked with has started out by being a little bit afraid of what’s to come. The best part of an engagement shoot, though, is that we get to know each other and you get to have the experience of having your photo taken. It doesn’t take long before you’ll be used to having my camera around, and I promise my own awkward (and adorable?) nature will put you at ease. Here’s what Ally had to say after she saw their photos:
“I just want to say THANK YOU!! Opened this at work and I love them. You are an amazing photographer. I am actually getting emotional looking at the pictures because you can see the love (so cheesy but so true). You made us feel at ease and we had a lot of fun & it shows through the photos”.
