Years after they went to highschool together (though didn’t know each other there), Karissa + Danny decided to start their lives together back in the region they both grew up in. Though university and other life adventures had taken them both outside of the Niagara Region, this fun pair planned a day full of all the best things Niagara has to offer. The Pillar and Post and Queen’s Landing are two stunning venues right in the heart of old Niagara-on-the-Lake, which truly could not be more charming of a town. It was a busy day all over the place – NOTL is quite the destination on a Saturday in the summertime – but we avoided the crowds and stuck to the quiet places (with the exception of grabbing a coffee at Balzacs, because really, who can turn that down?).
This day was silly, creative and unique, which is just how Danny + Karissa wanted it. Their beautiful outdoor ceremony, officiated by Danny’s uncle, was held in the rose garden at Pillar and Post. They were surrounded by their closest family and friends as they exchanged vows and were showered with lavender buds as they took their first steps as husband and wife. The party continued into the night with donuts, fake mustaches and Pokemon Go. I have never seen so many personal design details at a wedding, thanks to Danny’s mad graphic design skills and creativity. It was so fun to be there – thanks for letting me be a part of it all!
